There is no r13 code on your heater. The r13 flashes everytime you turn on your heater, wait, then see if it fires, if not, you will get an error code starting with EO then a number, or the "service system" or "service heater" light will come on.

AFS is Air Flow Switch. Either the blower is not fully functional, or the air switch tubing is cracked, or the air switch has failed.

Hard to say what this is but your windows should not be within a 4' laterl of the window for this and many other safty reasons. Sorry to say but you should move the heater away from the window.

This is an ignition falure code. What you hear is the fan starting not the heater fireing. This can be a number of things and sorry to say but you should have a repairman out to look at the heater. Between the two water pipes on the left side of the manifold is a two inch plug. When you take this plug out the thermal regulator assembly will come with it.It consists of "O" rings, a spring and what looks like a thermostat in a car. If you are still seeing the EO1 error code, turn over the display panel and see if there is a RED light next to a set of letters. Whatever the light is next to, that would be the cause of the error code.

The heating element is not working properly . The element can get coated with certain minerals .You need to clean the heating element with a brush.
