Runs Fine But won't Shut Off
One of two things will keep the engine from turning off. The most likely cause is a dirty kill switch. Pop the switch out with a small knife or screwdriver, disconnect the wire leads. Clean the switch by spraying WD40 or contact cleaner into the switch and blow it out with compressed air. Check your local repair shop to see if a new switch is available. They are usually about $5.
The other possibility is an open circuit in the ignition module. If repairing the switch doesn't solve your issue, replacing the ignition module is usually too expensive to mess with. Just use the choke to kill the engine.
Good luck!

I ran my blower without oil by accident and now it
Hello Stacy,The reason two stoke engines run oil in the gas is for lubrication. By not mixing oil in the gas and running the unit may have scored the cylinder causing low compression. It may be time for a new blower. If in doubt, purchase a compression tester from a local auto parts store. They simply screw in the same threads that the spark plug does. Once threaded in, pull starter rope several times and observe reading. You should have at least 60 psi cold. If your reading is significantly lower, you will need a new cylinder and piston and wont be worth doing. Another method is to remove the muffler and look inside cylinder with a flashlight and look for scratches on cylinder wall. Hope this helped. I’m happy to assist further over the phone at

Troy bilt blowr td320bv will not start. It is only 1 month old
If fuel is running out the carb then the diaghram is stiff and holding the needle open, or a piece of debris is stuck in the needle holding it open.
Either way the carb needs rebuilt.
In the future; when storing the unit; empty all fuel from the tank and start the unit and let it run the fuel out of the carb. Store it dry if its going to sit more than 30 days without being used.
