Motor will not start on my Ridgid table saw
Check the brushes and the commutator for wear and buildup between the insulated areas of the commutator..It should be clean and not full ofcopper residue. That will make the motor click only upon triggering the starter switch

It wont turn on but it has power at the motor
if you test power at the motor when you flip the switch on then something is burned out in the motor. Bad brushes perhaps if it is old but more likely a defect if it is new. could be anything from a burned out winding to one or more of the brush wires poorly routed or attached so that they went open or shorted out.

Why would ridgid ts2400-1 10" table saw motor race
Electrical motors do not 'race' unless there is an electrical problem... usually with the motor. One other possibility is to check the tightness of the saw blade itself. If a bit loose, it may be be slipping intermittently, causing the illusion that the motor is varying in speed. Lastly, but unlikely is that the start capacitor for the motor is defective.
