Porter Cable Cable 0330 Speed - Bloc Finishing Sander Questions & Answers
I inherited this sander (Porter-Cable model 330)
there is a wrench supplied with the tool that you need to insert in the slot on the clamp and push the wrench towards the tool to open the clamp. Now if you follow closely I can direct you to a manual and parts list. Go to "dewaltservicenet.com" and scroll down to the bottom and you will find a porter cable link, click on that and then when you get to the next page click on tools. Scroll down till you find sanders and click on that. Next find finishing sanders and you will find your model sander click on the description and it will again redirect you to another page where you can find the manual. The whole manual is 44 pages long but that includes other languages. The page that you specifically need is page 10. If you have a problem let me know and I will try and help. This is the first time that I have had to take this route to find a manual on their site.

How do i take apart a model 7812 porter cable vacuum to change brushes
The brushes are not replaceable - it is an entire motor assembly.
1) remove the 2 screws holding the top handle on
2) remove the 2 screws on the top of the housing (front either side of switch)
3) remove single screw holding cord hook (rear side of housing)
4) remove small torx screw in the shaker handle and remove the handle
Flip over and using a screwdriver begin to pry the top cover off the housing (easiest to get the front side off first)
Rust in air compressor tank
first you need to remove the tank and get rid of the rust with a rust kill agent, vinga or chemical type with corrosive converter, then liquid paint the inside of the tank, swilling the paint inside and leave to drip out. then find a high pressure line filter, these are a solid filter and put in line. to stop this happening again to the tank you can also put a drop valve in place and when not in use press to release the air inside as this is what rusts the tank. but after the restoration it should be fine without a filter.
Why might my nail guns not work?
Have you lubricated either nail gun? If not, go to Home Depot and get a bottle of air tool oil. It's in tools by the compressors. Disconnect the air hose from the tool. Pour about a teaspoon of oil into the air inlet of the tool. Reconnect everything and try it 10-20 times with no nails in the tool. Then try it with nails. Good luck.
How do I unjam a porter cable BN200SB nail gun
I suggest that you make sure that there is no air he tool so, remove the air supply. Then if you remove the cover from the nose (Making sure that you also take out all the unused nails first) it should allow access to the front nose plate. If you remove this, it will allow you to carefully remove the nail. While you're at it, check that the driver blade tip doesn't have any burring or damage to it. If so, you might need to fettle it back into shape or, replace it?
