You need to disconnect for a few seconds and reconnect the battery on the remote. While the remote is sitting in the charging cradle, press the talk button to turn on the remote and then turn off. Disconnect the ac power from the base for five seconds and reconnect. This should subscribe the two pieces together.

Went to Plantronics website and did the chat support. Was told to take the battery out and leave it out for 10 seconds so the phone would reset. It then worked for about 10 minutes and did it again midcall. So it kinda works, but not a reliable fix.

Hold the volume down key for a few seconds until the orange light comes on.

You might have an ALT key or SHIFT key. Try that.

maybe it is recognizing it as another phone device, instead of a headset. you can also try leaving the second request for a code blank
