Gold Medal 2003 Whiz Bang Popcorn Maker - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
New kettle for the gay 902 whiz bang popper
Yes you can purchase new kettles complete or just the bottom half most of the time with the gold medal brand. When you see the prices you may want to consider repairing or rebuilding it. That's what I do unless there are so many parst needed that a new one would make more sense because I believe you will get a warranty with the complete kettle?
I have 2003 model whiz bang popcorn machine that takes forever to pop the corn
Old popcorn is the first thing to check, and that you are measuring correctly. 12oz of popcorn is the correct amount in a 3 min popping cycle. always time the 2nd batch. That model popper has 2 heat elements, and 2 thermo stats that control them. If the first 2 things to check are good, then you dropped a thermo stat or heater and it is operating on 1 heater instead of 2.

School concession popcorn machine
There are many ways that this could have caused your problem! Too much popcorn kernels put into bucket!....somthing in the bucket that is causing it too stick! (I would never put salt or any other seasoning in the maker untill popcorn has dropped) anso the heat from the maker itself can cause warping of the metal parts inside over time! I cant tell you what parts to order because i dont know the model number,But If you have all the pats somone of little skill should be able to fix it for you by bending it back into place and putting it back together and trying it! If not come back with the model # and we can help with the parts!

THANK YOU!
What was the use date on the Gold Medal flour?
You are probably concerned about the recent Salmonella issue?
The product is the UNBLEACHED all purpose flour:

Trying to find kettle wiring drawing 3255
To order a manual from the factory the part# is 67834. Depending on how old this is , those kettles and or similar design had a issue with the nut comming loose that holds down the thermostat thight to the bottom of the pan. The loose nut would then bounce around in there until it touches a elect.connection and ground at the same time. It will short circuit the kettle and end up welding itself in place . so when you turn the kettle on it trips the circuit rite away. you have to dissasemble it and remove it . there is a new locking type nut avalible to replace it.

Popcorn burns
If the corn/ oil ratio is correct , check the thermostat operation . It is burning because it's in there too long from lack of heat to make it pop.
