Hello,

First check if the cables are properly connected to the television, then ensure the problem is not from the television by hooking up another player to it to see if it plays fine with good picture.

If it does the same, then you need to know that the problem is from the television and not your player, but if the image is clear, then you need to know the problem is from the player.
Such problem might be caused by the AV port or from the main board.

Try to assess the main panel to see if it has some lead melted on it causing there to be a bridge of two capacitors together, also you can check for bad capacitors. If you detect any of these to be the fault, then correct bridging leads by using a soldering iron to break off the bridge of lead, then melt off the bad capacitor and replace it with a new one if that seems to be the problem.

on your remote down on the left hand side at the bottom of it its the second last button called c.lock its right above easy rpt press n hold till the little red key flashes and disapears off your unit !

It sounds like the laser or another mechanism involved with reading the dvd's is defective I highly recommend you have the unit serviced under warranty if it is only 4 months old. contact the corresponding nec to where you live at this link and inquire about repair/replacement:

Depending on the model of you hardware, you can generally

1. Turn on your TV.
2. On the remote, press the Menu button. The Set-Up Menu appears.
3. Scroll to the Key Lock function and set function to Off.
4. Press the Exit button to exit.

Your DVD is likely in the wrong format for your DVD player to read. Try downloading the DVDs in another format or convert from DivX to DVD. Cheers, eiger3790.

Go the co.;s web site go to product support. find you model and then download a manual for free. pdif file use Adobe to read. that's it DFD

You need to turn the power on, enter your DVD or Video Cassette, then press the triangle symbol which will play your DVD or Video. Cheers, eiger3790.
