Cd tray will not open. Is there a quick fix for
If when ejecting the disc tray you can hear motor noise from inside but the tray doesn't open up...
1. Unplug the unit from the A.C. outlet
2. Remove top cover
3. Look for rubber drive belt that causes load/unloading tray to move in and out.
4. Replace with new rubber belt..not a rubber band but a rubber belt.
American audio MCD 510 will not read Cds
what is this thing, part of a car? no

did that mean analog works but the digital jacks are dead? only?
it is HOME Stereo Dual CD deck player.
analog RCA out and digital. out x2. S/PDIF digital output for each player
Do not set the AC line voltage on REAR wrong (0r smoke time)
plays CD_DA disks and some MP3 files. on CD
the clicker needs new batteries. (repeats often)
we can not see your display to see things good or wrong.

1: test any deck like this using CD_DA (digital autio) disks using only store bought (brick) real music disks,
this is test #1 and they must play on both channels L/R

BURNED SLOW TO CD-R (DASH NOT PLUS)
use only normal Mp3 encoding not wild.

I have scowered the web and this is as close as I can get - it looks to be EXACTLY the SAME as the 1000 - no difference except in the power put put.

I f I understand you it sounds like a manufacturing defect. Sounds like the plug that American Audio is using will not permit the plug to be fully inserted into the socket. Unsure how I might help without more info.

Set Time Hours and Minutes: Press Time/12/24 and Alarm1/ON/OFF buttons at the same time for two seconds and it will start to blink the hour.
Press and hold the button for a fast setting or tap it briefly to increase the setting by one hour. Now set the minutes with time (press and hold) and min.
How do I set the Audiosonic clock? Set current time Press and hold the time button and simultaneously press the hour to set the hours in 24-hour mode .
