The capacitors have failed. Don't put power on it! Replace the swelled Capacitors with the same Value and Voltage and Size. Those bad capitors will cause a myiaid of problems.

monitor turns itself off after about 10 sec.

If the monitor is completely dead, then is sounds like the power supply board has failed. Sometimes it an easy fix, by replacing a fuse. Most LCD monitors do hav a fuse, the only way to know for sure is to open the case and troubleshoot the power supply.

my monitor 943NW if power on the blue led light on normally,but no picture or blue colour display,please help me to solution,tanks.

Press Menu misvoda, the button on the monitor.

Then press the arrow keys to set the Left-Right size shown by the picture
Press the select key when the option is highlighted.
Do the same with the move option and/or Up-Down size shown by up arrow and down arrow.

that will be capacitors problem in power board in the moniter

This is not a monitor problem.This is a mother board problem, some mother boards are supporting this resolution.For this problem,you have to replace the mother board or put the graphics card on the same mother board.your problem will solve.

Or www.digikey.com just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current, long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series. Please leave rating if it helps.

turn your machine on push f2 repeatedley then change your comand promp to f12.

I had the same problem with this monitor (Samsung 943nw)
When turned on it would only stay on for less then a full second.
When shining a light on the screen I could see what was on it, so it was just the backlight that was shutting down.

After I turned down the brightness of the monitor, the next time I powered on the screen the backlight stayed lit and it was back to normal.

It has dying power supply due to bad cpas, that will be the first place to look.

your circuitry has got some ruptured or destroyed component ,,,,,get it to the service centre to repair it

Change the input to digital using the monitor's menu buttons.

Most LCD manufacturer recommend 60Hz, all the LCD monitors (close to 100, 2 monitors per work station) at my office are set to native resolution and @60Hz, LCD refresh rate does not work the same as the old style CRT. You can tell by using the digital camera to see if the screen is flickering or not, point the camera at the CRT monitor and you will see the screen will be rolling but not on hte LCD screen. Try this monitor with other PC.
