check the front of your notebook, you'll find a switch near to the led or look for WIRELESS label. You need to flip the switch to turn on your wireless connection.

LG LGR40 laptop has no display. Cooling fan works. Processor and VGA chips heat up normally. Indicators are also ok. Power supply is ok. Anyone can suggest a chip level based repairing of it?

Just for the sake of it try going to www.google.com and see if it comes up.Check your Internet Options and look at the Connections Tab. Click LAN Settings and Make sure that only the first box at the top is checked which says "Automatically Detect Settings".Check your TCPIP Network Protocol under Network Connections in the Control Panel to make sure you have the box checked to Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically.

Open device manager from control panel and check for the webcam drivers. Reinstall the drivers after checking for status of working in the properties.
If not try and download the drivers once again from the LG support center and install. If not the webcam hardware is faulty. Use an external USB type to install and confirm.

check the other keys (ctrl, alt, Fn) if they are stuck. When you mean apps part, do you mean the apps on the functions keys? If so, you should be pressing the Fn key usually located at the lower left of your keyboard.

It is not necessary to connect it to projector. You can check it by connecting it any monitor in place of projector.
