Jazz JDC87 Digital Camera - Answered Questions & Fixed issues

Hi,
This
is a common problem on this set. This is either due to faulty CCD
sensor or faulty LCD screen. Look at the previous recorded images or
videos. If you see the same white lines in previous saved images or
video's , it would be suggestive of LCD screen unless it is a faulty CCD
sensor.
If that is LCD panel, it is not worth repair. If that is
CCD sensor, then you could call up Panasonic to check whether CCD sensor
of your model is under recall or not.
Read an old article :-
http://www.imaging-resource.com/badccds.html
If it is not under recall, try to get some good replacement or repair at low cost unless invest in new camera.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

The camera keeps turning off. I have changed the
Your problem may be due to corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera
which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the
camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with
a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush,
steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen
into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of
the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears
the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, the camera may have
a problem that requires professional repair.
If this response helps, please take a moment to post a rating for me. "Very Helpful" would be appreciated.

When I put in my SD 8 GB memory card, busy signal
An 8GB SD card will actually be a SDHC card, the HC means High Capacity. Your camera is only designed for regular SD cards up to a maximum capacity of 2GB; it's incompatible with SDHC at the basic hardware level and so cannot format the card.
You only have one solution: fit an SD card which does not exceed 2GB. Note that the specification for regular SD cards goes up to 4GB, but very few standard SD devices were ever designed or tested for compatibility with them. The few regular SD cameras which can use them mostly can only do so after a firmware update and even then will operate very slowly compared to when using a 2GB card. There has never been a firmware update to enable your camera to use 4GB SD cards.
I hope that you have found my posting to be of assistance and ask in return only that you return the favour by rating my answer.

First download and install drivers, then turn camera on, then start your picture program, then lastly connect camera
