Our air condition is not coming on

Hello, if you are getting 120 volts to the unit and it's dead then you need to check the wiring first and make sure no wires are burnt and loose, also it could be a bad thermostat or selector switch.

Hello my name is Heath it will be my pleasure to assist you. What you need to do is turn the unit off, check the filter inside and be sure its clean, Next with a garden hose set to a strong jet blow water through the back side of the outside coil where the warm air is dissipated. What happens is the outside coil gets plugged with dirt and debris and gives off less heat and decreases cooling capacity.

Reset button on plug will not stay engaged

Ether the unit has a short in it,or the reset plug,is bad,you will need to have the unit checked out to make sure witch is the problem.

Leaks water from back

this is not a water leak ! it is the humidity in the room which collects as water and drains out at the back.keep a bucket underneath or attach a drain pipe to the outlet .

I have a older Goldstar GWHD 5000 window unit AC ..I put a hole in the copper line and all the freon leaked out ...on accident..can I fix the hole ...if so can I add freon..I have some R12

I HAVE A GOLDSTAR SPLIT UNIT AND THERE IS BLINKING LIGHT ON THE UNIT WILL NOT TURN ON

If your blinking light is there but it is not turning on https://supportnumbers.net/aol-technical-support/ this will fix your issue. It is due to some internal problem in Goldstar split.
