You have your flex flat cable broken .. check this

All you have to do it type: #7465625*2877# That will unlock the phone to use on any carrier; The problem you are faced with now is that the a707 only accepts 3G sim cards. If you are using T Mobile just ask them they should give you the code. If not, you are just out of luck as there are new firmware upgrades for the a707 at this time. GOOD LUCK. This is not illegal nor is it illegal for them to lock a phone

Yes, you type wrong PIN 3 times. Be carefull with PUK code as it has only 10 attempts! If you are registered owner of SIM card then call your operator and you'll get it for free. Or log on to website and in your account should be there as well.

I have the same problem before and when i bring the phone to the service center they replace the FLEX of the phone which cost around $20

That is the only fix for that problem

probably your phone is sim locked.. this means it can be used only on some networks while others are forbidden.

As this lock is software based you can remove it by installing another firmware, the software which run your phone.

You can search the internet for new and unlocked firmwares and then install one on the phone.

This will broke your warranty terms .. but it's the only way.

Hi! The same thing happend to my u700. After just few days the whole screen shut down.. Its probably related? try to send it in and get it fixed.
