How can I upgrade my sony ericsson w910i firmware? My software version is 1200-9123 R1FA035 080527. Everytime I want to open the games or application in the entertainment menu, it says "Operation Failed". Also I am unable to install any game or application in the phone. pls help.

First of all, try to back up your info on your phone, i.e. save all your contacts to your SIM card, download SE PC Suite 4.0.10.00 from SE website, download MyPhoneExplorer 1.7.2 from Majorgeeks (all latest versions), and backup all info - rather 2 or 3 places than losing everthing! Download Update Service from SE website - follow instructions on screen. Even if you have the same / latest version firmware, re-install it. It solved all my problems - some same as yours.
Good luck. I now enjoy my SE W910i more than I did any other phone before.

It says 'Connection Failed' and your internet settings must be activated for java applications', when i try to install ebuddy. how do i do that?
ebuddy is not as good as some of the other apps I have used for the w910i. I would reccommend using numbuzz or queep. Just search for them on google or this specialist mobile java app website:

my sony ericssion w910i mic not working, when i remove the mic the coupper(under the mic) allso removed, what can i do?
It seems that the mic is disconnected from the rest of the circuit. Solder it after a careful check.

The phone lock code protects your phone against unauthorized use if it is stolen and the SIM card is exchanged. To be able to switch the phone on, you need to enter the four-digit phone lock code. The Sony Ericsson default phone lock code is '0000', but you can change this to any 4-8-digit personal code. When you buy the phone, the phone lock is by default turned off.
Note: For security reasons, your operator, retailer or Sony Ericsson Contact Center cannot retrieve the lock code through the phone or the network. If you forget the code, locked phones must be sent to a service centre.
