This is acutaly a feature on the phone when there is no signal around it will shut off the radio instead of constantly searching for one which really kills battery power just make sure you arent in a real signal dead area and you should be fine to turn it back on just go to manage connections and click it back on. Now if this isn't exactly the problem you are having then it could be your phone or your network I would call up your network first though to see if they are having problems in your area.

The battery is defected you need to replace it you can order new batteries online but if your phone is under warrenty then you could probably get a free battery ;) or it could drain like that if you have applications open all the time that you never close or you are in an area that your blackberry keeps looking for a stronger signals this usualy kills a battery really fast.
You need to make sure you are using a usb port that is directly in the computer or a usb hub that is being powered because if you use a port like say an extra usb port on your keyboard chances are that there isnt enough power comming from it so an easy solution to this problem would be just stick it into a usb port that is comming directly from the computer or a powered usb hub that is connected to the computer anymore questions feel free to ask :)
Cellfixers.com I recommend ordering the T-6 driver with the pry tool. The video on FixYa was a life saver. I also found a slideshow with still pics. Good luck!
Hi Keith, if you have knowledge of how the phone disassembles you can remove the screws in the back and open the phone by using a razor bladed and popping the plastic lockes around the edge Check out this youtube tutorial before you do anything. if you feel ok to do it, it's you phone. But be warned the plastic is delicate so be sure you have patience and work slow.Hope this helps, if so leave a FIXYA Vote

My phone was doing the exact same thing and the I realized it was dumping memory because I was low on free space. I had a memory card in the phone but did not know I had to go in and manually turn it on. Since I did that I have tons of free space and have not had the problem since. Hope this helps
It All Depends On The Software
BlackBerry Device Software Media Card Size Limit BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.0 Up to 2GB BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.1 Up to 4GB BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2 Up to 4GB BlackBerry Device Software 4.3.0 Up to 8GB
Make sure the ringtones you are using are MP3 file format.
Also this usually means that the ring tones are not being found on the phone. Be sure that they are properly set to be found by the phone.
You can also go to your Media -> Ringtones and then find the one you want. Use the option key (blackberry checkerpad button) and click SET AS RING TONE.
If this doesn't work, pull out the phones battery and leave it out for 10 seconds then replace it. This will perform a restart on the system (all information is saved) and usually helps fix any problems with the phone.
