I think you'll have to hard reset your device, in order to get rid of such a condition. You, most probably, know that a hard reset will set your phone to its factory defaults, thus deleting all your personal data, as well as all programs you have installed. Your user manual describes how to perform a hard reset, but here are the instructions, anyway: slide your device open, to landscape position.Then, press and hold both the action button and the reset pin (with the stylus pen) for a couple of seconds. Release the reset pin first, then the Action key.

Each provider has price plans. The phone you are buying from your friend may not be your best bet. Some providers offer free phones with a 2 year contract.
The phone your friend is selling is most likely locked to a provider.

at first plz contact your service provider to know their apn name..
then go to the connection settings in your mobile phone..create a new access point(or access profile)...choose any name and in the apn name option ..change it to your service provider apn..

My i760 is doing the same thing just hours after seting up page plus service on it .. I hope there is a way to fix this .. Hard reset is not clearing the phone number if your fast you can get into the phone settings befor it shuts right back off i even reset it from phone settings and still no good. has anyone fixed this yet .. or is it something that happens if you use this phone on page plus ..

Try pressing harder on the screen. After about 3 cycles of hard presses the align screen setup usually ends. If that doesn't work, the setup eventually does end but it may take a while.

hey you cannot transfer contact in sd card, unlike the picture images etc. but phone contacts you cannot,

Start the Camera, Hit Icon 9 (Hammer/Wrench next to X), It will start with the "General" tab. On the the line that says "Storage", Change "My Device" to "Storage Card". Hit "OK" at bottom.

Check your Power Management settings.....
Start> Settings> System (Bottom Tabs) >Power (Icon)> Advanced (Bottom Tabs). Make sure "On Battery Power" is checked and select a time 1-5 minutes.

If your on the phone for long periods you may want to check the "Power Save" tab also. It's to the right of the advanced tab.

It is caused by your hitting the camera button when loading it into the cradle. It is the button right behind the Stylus/Pen. Try holding the 760 a little different on the right side when you mount it.

Other option is to change button 2 (near stylus) to activate something else or nothing at all... Start>Settings>Buttons - then select button 2 and then use (2. Assign Program) to change it ---- <none> is an option near the top of the list.

I think you are in trouble. Take it to Samsung Service Center and let them handle the phone. I also had similar prob with my Nokia E61i. It froze while updating the firmware. Took it to Nokia Care and after fifteen days it was replaced with a Noia E63 as Nokia had stopped manufacturing E61i. I hope similar thing does not happen to you. One should always make use of the service center for updating the firmware.

Did you perform a hard reset? To do this:

1. Slide open the device to expose the QWERTY keyboard.
2. Press and hold the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
   
3. While holding the center of the 5-way navigation pad, use the stylus to gently press and release the reset button.
   
4. When Clearing Data... appears on the screen, release the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
5. When prompted, tap the screen to setup the device.

on the top of your iphone there is a small slide in or out slot that you can use a pin to open it with poke a pin in the hole and the slot will open
