Hsm 225.2 jerks in & out 2-3cm and wont eat paper!
try oiling the cutters...this helps out with the shredding of paper...also make sure properly mounted on bin, try resetting the shreddar, unplugging it and then plugging back in...check to make sure no paper or anything stuck in shreddar and make sure no broken gears..if this doesn't work and your shreddar is under warranty it would be a good time to call the warranty company
HSM Securio B24 paper shredder
The HSM Securio B24 is a high-security paper shredder that is designed to shred sensitive documents into extremely small particles to protect against identity theft and other types of data breaches. It is capable of shredding up to 24 sheets of paper at a time and can also shred staples, paper clips, and credit cards.
To use the HSM Securio B24, you simply need to place your documents in the feed opening and push them through using the built-in handle or the manual feed. The shredder will then automatically shred the documents into small particles that are difficult to reconstruct.
The HSM Securio B24 also features an automatic start/stop function, which means that it will start shredding as soon as you insert your documents and stop when you are finished. It also has a reverse function that allows you to easily remove any shreds that may be stuck in the shredder.

In the middle of feed opening there is a sensor and it will be jammed. Try removing stuck paper with tweezers and/or soak it with WD-40. Repeat it a few times. This should clear the blockage.
The shredder is totally inoperable
Check the Power
Ensure that the shredder top is firmly placed in the shredder basket if the unit will not operate. If the top is not in place the feeder will not work and accept any paper. Make sure it is firmly plugged into the wall outlet and that the outlet is active.
Rest the Shredder
Let the shredder cool down if the shredder has been running continuously for a long time. It may have overheated and needs to be left in the off position for at least 30 minutes to reset. Verify the basket is empty or not too full as that will cause the shredder to deactivate.
Clear Paper Jam
Rotate the shredder into "Auto" and reverse to loosen any paper jam that is stopping the gears. Pull out any papers that are sticking out from the shredder feeder. If there is no progress then unplug the shredder and remove the shredder top from the bin. Turn it upside down and use tweezers to free any paper that is blocking the gear.
Auto Mode Not Working
Select the "Auto" option and feed paper into the center of the feeder tray if the shredder is only working in reverse mode. The sensor is located in the middle of the feeder tray and could be blocked by jammed paper. Use an index card to firmly unblock any paper that could be blocking the sensor.
