you have a bad plug on the end of the power supply a loose jack on the computer or a bad power supply you need to test the power supply with a volt meter to see if it is putting out any power if it is you have a bad connector on the pc or an intermittent connection on the power plug end. get a new battery before you blow something up. it is not good for the power supply to run the compputer all the time. it will shorten the life.
