How to switch on a webcam?
well i guess there arent any buttons on your webcam. for previous windows like xp, one could just simply get to it by clickin on 'My Computer' and then you get your scanners and camera icon down at the bottom.Or you can simply use skype software to check your video settings if your webcam works.Or even a better solution. Download the software for your webcam. Normally they provide a package where you can have the ability to take pictures through your webcam.in all cases it automatically turns on.

Wireless does not work on asus eee pc 900
What exactly is the problem? Wireless not working is not very
descriptive of your problem because there are many things that come into
play in order to have wireless.
Maybe you don't have your wireless turned on. Look on
both sides and in front for the Wireless Switch and turn it on.
Also once the wireless switch is turned on there are keystrokes that can toggle
the wireless on or off. Normally you would Press and Hold the FN function
key located at the lower left of the keyboard, then hit the correct F1 thru F12
key that toggles the wireless. The correct F1 thru F12 key to hit will
have the wireless signal icon )))) on it. Or it might have the icon of a tower
with the wireless signal icon )))). Normally the screen will display
Wireless On or Wireless Off when you toggle the wireless.

Sign in as the Administrator (hopefullyyou didn't put a password on it and forgot it too). Once the desktopappears it will look different, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger,but this is normal for safe mode. Click Start/Control Panel/User AccountsWhen the User Accounts screen opens, click on the userid for which you forgotthe password. Select the option to REMOVE PASSWORD. Reboot your machine.There was a post on here where someone found a site that could remove the windows 7 password and you only paid them a donation fee if it worked. I WISH TO RETURN TO FACTORY SETTINGS
A number of these machines have a function that can restore to factory settings by pressing one of the special function keys at startup. There is a factory restore partition on the hard drive that keeps this info. So, if on startup you see a message such as "press F11 for restore" or something like that, do it.

Deb, that depends entirely on how your Dlink router is set up. If in doubt then set it up yourself using the manual and remember to set up security after it is working.

If it is Vista or Windows 7EASY In CONTROL PANEL select RECOVERY Then "Advanced Recovery Settings" Then "Return your computer to factory settings". Be AWARE you may loose all of your files and after market downloads. Back-UP first!!
Missing touchpad driver
I actually think you dis-abled it. Go to Control Panel and select Touchpad or Mouse Properties. And enable it.
NUMBERS BLOCKED
I assume this is a laptop.There is a "F" Function Key with another key (I do not know) on the keyboard that will toggle the numbers on and off. I do not know the Mfg. of your PC so I suggest you look to the Mfg website for instructions.
Mouse stop working
Put the mouse in a different USB port. Or:Get a different mouse and try it.If that does not work it's likely the drivers.Google the mouse model no and look for drivers from a reputable site.(Like the Mfg.)Good Luck!
