Unfortunately, the only way I know around this is to get full install DVD for Windows 7 and wipe out whatever was on the hard disk and start fresh. You'll have to get into the BIOS and boot from the DVD drive, though, if so equipped.
Passwords are not things that are to be forgotten on computers, and there is no way around retrieving it from an independent source, unless it's recorded on your email somewhere or you can jog your memory by thinking about what sort of password you had.

You can download the drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop, better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on the bottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Tag label is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages, the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where the specific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you select the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Click on this link to download the drivers: - <br />

i have seen this many times, you need to carry out a repair installation of your operating system as the boot loader has become corrupt, boot up laptop while pressing f12 (on dell splash screen) and you will get a boot menu with option to boot from cd/dvd drive boot to your reinstallation disk , choose option to repair as this will keep all files and folders you already have, BE CAREFUL NOT TO CHOOSE CLEAN INSTALL AS WILL WIPE ALL DATA
Some keyboard button not workin on dell laptop
Did you spill any liquids into the keyboard? If you did you may have damage the keyboard PCB and it will need to be replaced. One thing you can try to do is to first take a picture of the keyboard so you know where the keys go back to that you removed. Then use a small screwdriver to remove the non-functioning keys. Be very careful and do not use too much force or you may damage the key. Inspect the inner buttons and see if they are sticking. You can use a cotton swab or q-tip and rubbing alchohol to try and clean the inner part of the keyboard. Sticky liquids can cause the inner keyboard buttons to stick and mal-function. If the keyboard PCB is damaged you can either replace the keyboard or buy a usb keyboard to use on the laptop. The OS should recognize the keyboard after you plug it in.
