There are a couple of quick fixes you can do.

First, boot into Safe Mode (Repeatedly tap the F8 key while the system is booting, before the windows logo appears) A Menu will pop up, press Boot Into Safe Mode. From there you can try a System Restore to a known good date.

System Restore - Click Start -> Control Panel -> On the top right, type "System Restore" without the quotes. Click on "Restore system files and settings from a restore point". You can choose the recommended restore or a specific date.

The other option is to boot into "Last Known Good Configuration". To do this, use the F8 trick again while booting, but instead of Safe Mode choose "Last Known Good Configuration".

Please note that either of these run a risk of some data being lost from the time the restore point was made. You "shouldn't" lose anything but just want to make you aware.

Veriton M460 Chasis has two screws at the back, which you should open. After removing the screws press the Black T-Shaped button down and pull the side lid backwards to open the chasis as marked/ shown below: -

Before your computer running fine, you just remove the fan and heat sink, and fix properly.

1) Check your VGA cable both of side fix properly
2) Check your Monitor power button is switch on.
3) Remove your RAM and fix again.


May you fix your problem

put windows disc in you can trouble shoot windows disc.

Could be power supply problem.
Do any lights on the front of the pc come on?
Does the motherboard standby light come on when the power is swiched on?
Any fans come on?

Try swapping out the power supply if you have a spare.

You can change the display priority first AGP than on board in BIOS.

This problem may occur if the Ntfs.sys file is missing or becomes corrupted when you convert your hard disk to NTFS To resolve this problem, replace the missing or corrupted Ntfs.sys file:

1. Use the Windows XP startup disks or the Windows XP CD to restart your computer.
2. When the "Welcome to Setup" screen appears, press R to select the To repair a Windows XP installation using Recovery Console, press R option.
3. Type the number of the Windows installation that you want to access from the Recovery Console, and then press ENTER.
4. Type the administrator password when you are prompted, and then press ENTER. If no administrator password exists, just press ENTER.
5. At the command prompt, type the following commands (press ENTER after each command): cd \windows\system32\drivers
   
   ren ntfs.sys ntfs.oldNote This step renames the corrupted Ntfs.sys file to Ntfs.old. If the Ntfs.sys file is not found, the file is missing.
6. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER: copy cd:\i386\ntfs.sys drive:\windows\system32\driversWhere cd is the drive letter for the CD-ROM drive that contains the Windows XP CD, anddrive is the drive where you installed Windows XP.

Restart the computer.I hope this helps.The other thing I can think of is maybe your harddrive needs a raid driver.If this is a sata drive and an old version of you os,the sata driver may not be already on the disk and you will have to insert one.Let me know if the first solution works,if not we can try the raid driver.

Have you tried moving to a different USB port?

Change your Graphic card to test, if ever it is this, If not it may be your mainboard.

Reinstall your windows system using A bootable Windows XP CD or you can try repairing it using repair console or reinstall option.

si no tiene, descarga KillDisk http://www.killdisk.com/ el version basico ( free ) i puedes a crear un Bootable CD i probalo con el.

si los dos no functiona usted puedo a consegir una disco duro nuevo.

2. Choose PC Health function
3. The first item is the chassis open function - hit Enter to change it to Clear.
4. F10 to exit and save the change
5. Reboot
6. GO into the BIOS again and this time select Disable for the chassis opened function
7. F10 to save and exit

Sounds like you have a corrupted registry. Programs and files are behaving erratically or as if they are not correctly or fully registered or installed. You may need to reinstall your operating system. Good luck.
