Samsung CLX-6200FX Printer Questions & Answers
My Samsung CLX6200FX printer flashes
Sounds like the machine is trying to pull from the Manual Feed tree (or MP Tray).
This is actually the tray that you open up from the front. (not the tray you can remove)
Try to put some paper in the manual feed tray (again, not the cassette tray) and if it pulls the paper and prints then job then that was the problem.
This could be configured in one of two places:
The drivers on your computer (or in the program you're trying to print from)
or on the machine itself. If it's a machine setting you can confirm this by pressing the PRINT function button on the printer and you should see on the LCD a list of configuration options, if you see something that says:
MP > Tray1 then it's setup to try and pull from the manual feed
You'll have to go into the menu and find the correct setting. (Usually under Paper options)
If you still have problems leave a comment and I'll try to help you further.

How involved is it to
I just bought a CLX-6200FX and it has holes in the transfer belt, so I think it's the reason I get poor color printouts. I just bought a belt (vs. an entire belt assembly) and am going to attempt to change it out. Any hints as to how to start would be appreciated.

In Windows, you can use the Control Panel to find the printer's IP address.
- Go to Settings > Devices > Printers and Scanners.
- Find your printer in the list, click on it, and select Manage.
- Click on Printer Properties.
- In the General tab, find the Location field. Your printer's IP address will be located in it.
For MAC OS click the Apple sign and locate printers.
