This may help. Before you disconnected the USB cable did you "disconnect" it using the icon in the system tray? If you did not, try cycling power to the computer with no USB cable for the printer connected. Sometimes when you unplug a USB cable while it is still "connected" to the device your computer will lose track of that USB port. I hope this helps you.

you are installing the drivers may be not correct. u remove the printer driver and install the proper driver again otherwise it may be spooler problem then u have to reinstall the os and configure printer dirver

I assume that the error is to open the lid of the laser cartridge and check to be torn from the laser sensor has to be a piece of plastic when pressed on the sensor cap ivhizi if the printer should be opened and checked laser

Are you printing Labels or Envelopes?

MANUAL PRINT IS ALSO KNOWN AS TRAY 1 ON HP PRINTERS. LOAD PAPER INTO THE SLOT ABOVE YOUR PAPER TRAY.

open toner door pull out the toner ,now remove the paper.

Please unplug the printer, wait 2 minutes then plug back in.

go to start and if you are using xp click on run and in the run tab type in services.msc

and if it is vista or win 7 click on start and start serch tab, in the start search tab type in services.msc

once you open services.msc page a list of services will come up

in the list restart the service named print spooler

it will be fixed

Now once you have downloaded the driver you will need to double click the saved file to install the driver on your computer.
Connect your printer to the USB port of the computer as well as to the printer and then connect the power.
Your printer uses A4 standard office paper, insert a few sheets.
Then print a document.

If your system mother board was changed, system might be formatted. Reload the drivers once again..

Fully overhauled required, open the printer service it..

Unplug and power off the printer and wait 30 seconds. It will reset the device.
