After installing new cartridge, low ink warning

I have just replaced my both catridges in the printer the first one two weeks ago and then it still said that I had to replace it but I ignored it then the coloured one wanted replacing and I replace it but then it would not allow me to print at all and I noticed that the orange light would not stop flashing I have checked that the cartridges are correctively put in.

Please can you help.

The paper in the printer is lined up and

I have found over the years that printers really don't lie. If it says there is a paper jam there usually is. I have completely taken apart a large laserjet printer to find a very tiny piece of paper causing the problem. Also if you run sticky labels through printers they have a tendency to leave residue or even part of a label behind which will cause the printer to tell you there is a jam. Check your printer very carefully, use some canned air to blow it out. You may need a printer repair person to come out and take it apart to look for possible stuck paper.

Can I use just black ink in both inkjets

the answer is no, if you want black priting a good solution would be a laser jet, they go for very cheap these days. You cannot convert these things it will not work due to the module in the printer tht would deny it each time. From a manufacture standpoint I would rely on the no answer. Now I am not saying that there is NOT some geek out there that has not pulled it off. But I got to stay on a quality guidline.

It says paper jammed

Hello there
You may not see a paper jam.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Also clean The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, Caonon and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing.

That is where you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it.
It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.

So clean all under where the heads are parked and on IP6600D models you can take out the heads just by clipping them out, and then clean well.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Canon pixma ip2600 load paper error when there is paper

Do you have the manual? If so, go to Cleaning the Printer and read Cleaning the Roller, make sure there are no foreign objects in the rear tray and try turning the printer Off then back On OR even a can of that compressed air to try blowing the inside of it out. If you don't have the manual you might find it online. I tried copying the Cleaning part but it wouldn't let me.

Just choose your OS and select the drivers, then click on the one you want and download it.

Changing ink cartridges

If you have put in genuine Canon cartridges, contact Canon support for advice.
If you have refilled in any other way, your printer cannot detect ink levels. If you have used a refill kit, you might have problems if you return your printer for repair under warranty as evidence of refilling is the first thing checked for
