You need to be a little bit more specific nex time, the error 49 its normally related to an internal communication error between the DC Controller and the formatter board on the unit

Step 1.Switch on the machine observe Optical scanner assm moving forward & reverse for checking home position? remove flat bed glass,clean it especially at black band area, fix it and check..Step 2. Switch off the machine, remove power cable, remove left side door,dis connect Scanner cable(connector J4) on formatter, switch on the machine, check if same error? replace formatter assm..if different error replace optical scanner(CCD) assm..

This is entirely software based.
The stub app is part of the software that helps the computer/laptop communicate with the printer.

My first bit of advice would be to go to HP's support site and download the new software or re-install the software from HP website

Please note when I say re-install I mean uninstall the older software first and then re-install the new downloaded software.
  1. In Windows Vista/7 (Click on the start button).
  2. In the search box type in programs and features (look above and select uninstall a program).
  3. Select every single bit of software related to HP Laserjet and uninstall this one by one.
  4. Download the software from the link above, restart the computer and re-install the Hp Printer software (Do not keep the printer plugged into the computer or powered on).

You have a bad toner cartridge. All HP toner cartridges have chip attached to them. That chip is read by a sensor in the printer. If the chip is missing or bad replace the cartridge.

Find the numbers on the inside of your printer,it has the numbers of any type of ink you may need to add. All of the newer printers have a number on them and they don't come with all the colors you may use.

A 50.3 error means that the temperature of the fuser got to high.
Just try switching it of for 20 minutes and try again.
If it happens during a large print job, this may help, if the error returns when powering up the machine, the fuser is faulty, but if so, that means it would have to be replaced.

If you are printing narrow media (A5, envelopes) etc. try printing them in small batches,, and allow the printer to cool of in between batches.

remove the right hand side end cover ( formatter acces panel) remove the bad memory ( card about 1" by 3" )- if your not sure its failed try with new memory and see if error returns

49 Error, Turn off then on

The product has experienced an internal embedded software error.

Turn off the power by using the power switch,
