you have to set the audio to something other than hdmi if you are using the chair for the sound so choose a different sound option

I have the same issue, its something to do with the power. I have never found a solution.

Get an rca cable and connect the "audio out" on the tv to the "Y" cable that came with the chair. If your tv is not equiped with an audio out then plug the red and white plug from your game console into the Y cable.

you should find one at www.ebay.com just type in wat ur looking for and you should find it without a problem

if you have a game system that you try to use the sound rocker for sound you either have to by a cord connector or if you have the Xbox360 with the hdtv cord you can connect the cords to the sound rocker and the tv

well maybe there is a miss connect in the wires in the chair. or you need to turn up the volume

You go to Radio Shack or something of the sort and purchase an adapter that you can plug the AV Sound into it and it turns it into the standard headphone jack, so you can plug it into your chair.
