Search up Google and enter your amp (name and model #) , and it should show you a pdf manual of that amplifier and show you that , possibly a 3-channel set-up would fit your needs, 4 ohms is usually the lowest minimum for the middle mono channel. Then, you could run the other two L & R channels for your mids and tweets (in stereo) on the remaining two channels; thereby in keeping a single amp to run the entire system. Also, 2 ohms would usually be the normal minimum on same amp for stereo amp output abilities, so that could easily run 5 speakers off one amp. I did it for years on a RF-600a4 with one 12" sub, and two 6 1/2" midbass, and two tweets (usually Morels, or Image Dynamics). Hope that helps...

Yes the radio has an amplifier built into it.

i would not do it a 4 channel can produce bass but it wont last long if its even bass compatible. your best bet is to get a small bass class D amp.

Orange is usually illumination. Try wiring up without and see if all works.

Is the amp a single channel? If so, the only way to connect the subs (without overloading the 2 ohm stable amp) is to wire each sub's voice coils in parallel (2 ohm) and then connecting the subs in series (4 ohms). If the amp is two channel, the subs can have their voice coils connected in parallel (as before) and then each sub connected to its own channel.

I would double check your antenna connection to make sure it is solid.

check the fuse behind the stereo and in your fuse box first off and make sure the power wire/ignition wires are on the correct pin. do this with a test light for verification. also check the ground wire. after you test and connect these 3 wires, the stereo should turn on. Your wiring harness may not be done correctly so visual verification with a test light would be the best thing before starting a car install. If this still does not work and the stereo you took out did, it is a malfunctioning unit.

King Chambers, It would be optimal to have subwoofers that are Dual 4 Ohm. However I am going to tell you the most optimal way to hook up the combination you have to extract the most power out of your amplifier. You will need to wire each subwoofer in series by taking the positive from one coil on the subwoofer and connecting it to the other voice coil on the same subwoofer; then take the left over positive and negative and hook that to your amplifier. You will do the same with the other subwoofer. This will give you a 2 ohm load. If you had dual 4 ohm coils then we could get you down to a 1 ohm load.
