the aux output is for an mp3 player or ipod. Does the HU have preamp outputs? The RCAs from the amp should go into them. If it doesn't you might have to get a high to low level input converter

Check the wires on the back of unit and make sure BOTH ground wires are connected. If the secondary ground wire isn't connected, the screen will not display video var viewReq = new Array();function vu(u) {var i=new Image();i.src=u.replace("&","&");viewReq.push(i);} vu("http://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/adview?ai\x3dB5oiTuDkeTabZAYz2lQei4_zcDcCshNABsIqYug3kveKqGAAQARgBIAA4AVCAx-HEBGDJ1pqLwKTYD4IBF2NhLXB1Yi0zMzg0OTQ2Mjg1MzUxOTU2oAGM97n0A7IBDXd3dy5maXh5YS5jb226AQozMDB4MjUwX2FzyAEJ2gEzaHR0cDovL3d3dy5maXh5YS5jb20vc3VwcG9ydC90NzA2MzUwMy1zbV8zMTB0X3N1bWFzmAKqGsACBMgC7JPpCeACAOoCHjYxNTMvZml4LmVsZWN0cm9uaWNzL2Nhcl9hdWRpb6gDAegDpQnoA-YB6APsA-gDBfUDAAAABOAEAQ\x26sigh\x3dUP1Q3dP6C9g") body { background: #FFFFFF; margin: 0px; padding: 4px; font-family: arial, verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; } p { margin:0px; padding:0px; } .spwrap { background: transparent url(/wysiwyg_rte/misspell.gif) repeat-x scroll center bottom; }

  • 1st you will need to purchase a 12 volt or above Momentary Push Button/(Toggle)switch (about $5 Radio Shack)
  • 2 2nd Using the Diagonal Pliers adjust the length of the Radio's Emergency Brake Wire to your desire. Make sure you have enough wire so you can mount it where you can easily access it like beneath your steering wheel/ on the Dash Board.
  • 3 3rd Connect one end to the emergency brake wire from the radio and then connect the other wire from the switch to a ground to your car. You can use the same ground connection that you used for the radio and it will be fine. Make sure you wrap up the wires using the Electrical Tape to prevent shorts.
  • 4 4th (Using Button Switch) When you are ready to use the DVD player insert DVD and after a few seconds the screen will turn blue and the message to "Set the emergency brake" will come on. Now just press the button (4x Times)for one second and release it. On The fourth time the screen takes about 6 second to display the video.
  • 5 5th (Using Toggle Switch) When you are ready to use the DVD player insert DVD and after a few seconds the screen will turn blue and the message to "Set the emergency brake" will come on. Now just flip the swtich on and off (4x Times). On The fourth time the screen takes about 6 second to display the video.
  • 6 Now your Passengers can enjoy the ride & Movie!!

    Hello,

    how long have you been using the player? And has it been giving you this type of problem before now?

    I think the fault is from the laser (lens) of your player. The lens is very weak such that it cannot read the data or files on a disc, that's why it should disc error, even though it plays some disc but that doesn't mean its not a lens problem.

    You need to look for a way to replace the lens for your player so that it can play all discs perfectly well again.

    Good luck.

    Most wiring harnesses have a solid orage wire for illumination of the radio and also have an orange wire with a white stripe for dimming purposes. Most radios do not use this dimming feature. Connect the brake wire to this wire and your able to watch your movies whenever you want. All the wire is looking for is a signal. It cannot differentiate between a parking brake signal and a non-parking brake signal.

    There is NO CODE, this is a wired in function, usually to the Brake Pedal, or hand brake, ONLY when they are activated, ie: In Use, can one watch the screen. Or when the Car is ignition turned off.

    Look at the rear of the player, the plug receptacle has a color ring, that should match the color of the RCA plug.
    If that not the case, the two stereo audio plugs should be similar in shape and color, and placed side by side on the player, while the video one is just one plug, placed well apart from the other two.
