Motorola Mobility MOTOROKR S9 + Bluetooth D650 Stereo Adapter for iPod Headset Questions & Answers
The Ipod Nano 5th connects to my headphones
i have the same problem with 5th gen nano and the D650. It pairs and i can use the controls but no sound comes to the headphones. I tried the headphones with the onboard bluetooth on my ipod touch and i had no problems. The problem only happens with the d650 and my nano. Someone has made this work im sure.

Trying to connect motorola s9hd to the laptop
assuming you have bluetooth installed on your laptop,
1) you have to disable the bluetooth pairing of your s9 with another device that you may have paired with it earlier - like a mobile phone. disconnect previously paired devices first.
2) turn on the bluetooth feature on your pc and ask it to "search" for devices. assuming your s9 is on standby, your pc should be able to "locate" and pair with it assuming the s9 is within an arms length distance from the computer.
3) make sure that the s9 is completely charged to eliminate that power issues as well

Ipod touch+motorola d650 adapter
I just bought the S9 with the D650 adopter with the same, very frustrating problem problem.
I contacted Motorola directly (1-800-331-6456), and after being redirected a couple times and asking a bunch of questions they told me the following:
Yes, there is a compatablility issue with the Ipod Touch and the D650. So no, we aren't all crazy. The new D650's now have a software upgrade to correct this problem. They were nice of enough to offer sending me a new one with no charge. The only thing I have to do is return my old one (and they took my credit card information to make sure I do return it.) They said it should be here within the week, so now I just gotta wait and see.
So my advice, give them a call and do the same.

Cannot increase volume on my Motorola S 9 stereo headset.
The problem is that the unit is not immune to sweat as Motorola claims it is. Mine did the same thing with trying to lower the volume. You might try to dry it out good with a hair dryer (but don't get it too hot). That might help for a while, but eventually it will short out again and you won't be able to fix it. Sony just came out with a unit that is similar and I am going to dump the Motorola for the Sony to see if it works better.

Tvbp-btn wireless stereo headset. Cannot get it to charge & show blue light. Shows red light when plug into charger; light goes out approx 1 minute later.
If your TVBP-BTN wireless stereo headset is not charging properly and the blue light is not showing, there are a few things you can check to fix the problem.
- Check the charger: Make sure that the charger is functioning properly and that the connections are secure. Try using a different charger or USB port to see if that resolves the issue.
- Check the charging port: Make sure that the charging port on the headset is not dirty or blocked. Clean it with a dry cloth if necessary.
- Check the battery: Make sure that the battery is not damaged or dead. If the battery is damaged or dead, the headset will not charge.
- Check for software updates: Make sure that your headset's firmware is up to date, if there is any updates available, install it.
- Check the manual: Check the manual that came with the headset for any troubleshooting steps or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
- If you have tried all of the above and the problem persists, it may be a hardware issue, and the headset may need to be repaired or replaced.

Motorolla walkie talkie shuts off when PTT button is pressed... Driving me INSANE. Please help
This is usually a low battery issue. If you are using the rechargeable battery pack, does your Motorola unit accept regular batteries in place of the rechargeable battery? If you can put in 3 or 4 AA batteries (depending on the model), try that. If the radio stays on when you press the PTT button, then continue using the regular batteries or get a replacement rechargeable battery, if you can find one for the model. If the radio still turns off when you press the PTT button with fresh batteries, then replace the two-way radio.
I hope this helps. When the rechargeable batteries fail, they will still charge but they won't hold a full charge for as long a period.

I have a sony wx gt90bt car stereo and I can only get the local station on am, the fm works just find.
I am not sure what type of car you have, but if it is reasonably modern, you will have what is called and "Active Antenna". This needs power and is usually powered from the car radio. I am sure that when the new radio was installed, this connection was missed. FM will work fine around town, but get a few miles outside, and you won't have anything. AM will be very noise or non-existant, as you have found out.
I had the same broublem with a used car that I had purchased. Once I connected the power to the antenna up, I had AM stations coming in from 200 miles away, and FM for 75 miles or so.
