All the headphones cannot be faulty at the same time. Check out the equipment that produces the sound first. That will be the source of the distortion.

My skullcandy headphones have a shortage in them toward the bottom how can it be fixed

I seam to recall that in certain parts of the World Skull Candy offer a lifetime warranty on their headphones. So I would check their website out before trying anything else. If not then you can visit my guide on my blog about headphone repairs.

The port is on the side near the bottom,just plug in the included micro USB cable and plug into USB power supply or use matching wall charger.
