If the MP3 player battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

You cannot change the background, the background is built into the MP3 player and there are no settings to adjust the background.

The unit doesn't come with any disk. factory settings can be done on the mp3 player itself. Soft reset is on the back of the unit, just use a paper clip to reset.
Your computer should automatically detect the device as a 'removable disk' drive under 'my computer' after you plug it in. if not, it might be on MTP mode, In the device menu, go to 'SETUP' > System > USB Mode, make sure you have it on MSC. Some computers are missing MTP (because you dont use Windows Media Player), then reconnect it, computer should read it correctly.

HI. The answer is no. You should Reset your player if it should freeze and not respond or otherwise malfunction. Be sure to disconnect the player from the CPU before initiating the reset.

• If you are worried about loosing the collection, just connect your player to your CPU and transfer all the song to the CPU before initiating the reset, This will insure that the songs are safe. You can transfer them back to the player once the reset has been preformed.

It will be recognized only after the drivers for it have been installed from the CD that came with it. Else, go to www.samsungmobile.com and download the same from there.

Disconnect the player if it is connected to a computer. Use a straightened paper clip or similar implement to press the RESET button on the back of the player.

You can't sync anything but Apple Ipods to Itunes...a skeevy ploy by Apple of course. You will have to use a different media player unfortunately.

yes but you have to convert the video to correct and proper settings

Check the video resolution which is compatible for your coby mp4 player,and then convert the videos to that resolution.
