My phone says the phone
If the phone is not really overheating, the problem could likely be hardware related. You would need to contact LG customer support to see what they have to say.
Given the age of this particular model (about ten years old) it wouldn't surprise me if LG is either unable to resolve the problem remotely, or requires you to send the phone in for repair.

Reset unlock codes
The only way to do it is do a hard reset... press volume down key + home key + power button then wait until Apple Logo appears... keep in mind this will earase everything in your phone

I just got a used lg env2 and for sum reason i
Have you tried pressing "Okay" then "Clear"? I know there is two lock features on it, and one is a double button lock. If that doesn't work there could be something wrong with the front keypad. Flip the phone open and see if it lets you unlock it that way.

No sound when making calls
try to volume up while your on call. if not resolve then your ear piece is broken needs to be repaired by your provider.

pnkrxygrl19 this is a reoccuring problem . you can take out the battery . the other thing you can do is get a replacement from the insurance company. you can see of lg can send you a replacment bu it will take them 2 weeks to get back . hope this helps I’m happy to help further over the phone at

It may have been that whoever you're sending the message to has blocked their cellphone to avoid charges or It It might also be that he does not have any minutes on his phone or their text bundle has expired and cannot receive messages.

The backlight on the exterior

My phone will send calls but I can't hear it ring
Hi sorry to hear that your having problems with your lg env2. ONe solutions is to take the battery out and clean the speakers and the mic.
You can reset the phone in the security section . Be careful hear because their are two types of reset. Their is one that is restoring just factory settings. It will tell you that know of your data will be lost. There is another that is to reset there as if it was out of the box. Don't do that one because it will wipe out the whole entire phone.. Do backup assistance on the phone to save your contacts. If you have a memory card move all the pics.sounds and videos on to the card.Before you can do the security you will need to know your code. My env2 wont send text messages. what can i do?
for sending text messages :
1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it
this solves your messaging problem ...

Okay this is a real common problem with this phone, all you have to do is open your phone and press and hold the (OK) button, then close your phone while still holding the (OK) button. "it also works for the bottem 3 buttons" This should solve your problem, if it doesn't I highly recommend for you to contact a verizon wireless expert.

ur defalt phones codes is 12345 or 00000 u can use it
Default 4 Digit user code: 1234 or 0000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 123456 or 000000
Default 6 Digit Security code: 1122 or 000999
Type *#06# at the mobile screen to know IMEI no of your mobile.
send the IMEI no to me and i will reply you with unlocking code.

My internal and external screens become distorted
Is it possible that there is by any chance moisture/water that has gone into the set. If so use a hair dryer to warm up or even open up and do this warm up. There after reset once you are confirmed the absence of any moisture.Please check the lines to the display....be very careful to attempt this work.
However if this is not so then the fault could be in the main board, possible in the display drive which might need help with a software analysis.

the only way to fix this is to take the phone to your nearest vzw store and get them to unlock it for you. it cost approx 10 usd.
