I would remove the battery for a few minutes and try again.

You may be able to tap the messages using the handset instead of the base unit. That way you can listen to the messages discretely.

Recommend you contact RCA support at their 800 #. Be sure to have your SPECIFIC model number as there is an A model and a B model ie, RCA 2525ORE1-A and 1-B. Also recommend you call during the week as the weekend support is very lacking in knowledge. They must look up items in manuals and this takes quite a long time. Sorry I cannot be of more help.

Hello, I`ve tried to change the voice message on my phone and I hear the new message, when I play it back but if I call, the old message is still on. Also I`ve tried to desactivate the information and now the only message I hear is "Please leave a message" even though I still hear the old message true a call. Thanks for your input. This is a commercial phone so need to be reset asap!
