LG LS092CE Split System Air Conditioner - Page 4 Questions & Answers
Why is my lg portable ac leaking water from bottom of unit
I posted the answer as a comment but the problem is the drain pan is under the cold radiator which is on top and it drains over the hot radiator which in turn drains into the pan that will hold water. When the top pan gets jammed up from lent then it drains down the other side of the hot radiator and it goes all over the floor. See the comments I put on the first answer. I posted this because I too bought a brand new Automotive aluminum pan until I figured this out
Lg window unit a/c won’t turn on after sitting through the winter, what could be the problem
There are many things of which could have happened. For the best and (hopefully) quickest results, contact your local technician specialist or the company of whom built your window unit. If this does not work, try looking at the help and FAQ pages on multiple business's sites to see how others solved similar problems as well. If you prefer to see it for yourself, try searching on YouTube of how to fix your situation at home. Hope this helps!
My lg air conditioner power and timer light blinks 2 time on each light (power 2 times and timer 2 times)
It appears to be an error 22. According to the LG bible, it means an overcurrent protection has activated. In most cases, unplug the machine or switch off from power supply for at least 15 minutes, it should reset the main control board. If this doesn't work , it may have damaged the board. Alternatively, if your machine is on 3 phase, check that all fuses / circuit breakers in your meter box are OK and switched on. You may have a weak or disconnected power supply.
Error code LG CH 05,how to fix this
The CH05 error message means you have an indoor / outdoor unit communication error. It can be caused by any of the following issues:
- No power on indoor unit
- Indoor/outdoor unit power connection error / communication line not installed
- Communication error caused by external noise
- Indoor/outdoor unit communication circuit parts burned.

LG Split System Air Conditioner Error code = C6 or CH06 LG AC Fault Definition = Excessive current at inverter DC power circuit - DC Peak Power
Flashing Light = 6

There are several things that can cause this,, first step is to check all wiring connections, but this can be pointing to a more major issue, the AC to DC transformer,,
It is a experienced tech kinda job

I call LG Mexico and they told me a Gas Leak.
Called in the Gas Guy, filled with new Gas and fixed the leak, now the AC works again. Nice.
I have an LG air conditioner that is blinking ''FL'' on the display and reads water full. . . How do I empty it so it will run again?
I just fixed my GE portable AC unit. I only had it for a month and it started displaying FL. The manual with it was pathetic. But, I cleaned the filters and took the drain plug out of the condensation tank which was completely dry. I put cleaned filters back in, plugged it and it ran a few seconds and flashed FL again. I let it set awhile like one website suggested in case it was froze up. That wasn't the problem. Let me make it clear right now that I am a technician. So I took the cover off and started troubleshooting and I found the problem right away. The float switch in the condensation tank had literally snapped off the poorly engineered mounting and was laying in the bottom of the tank. I fixed mine with some super glue. This was clearly a planned obsolescence that kicked in to soon and I wouldn't doubt that many other units have the same early failure. My advice to you, if you have a similar FL code that won't go away, is to tilt the unit back and forth and side to side and listen for that loose switch to move around in the condensate tank at the bottom of the unit. That may be the problem. If you just bought it, take it back to the store. But, don't take the cover off unless you know how to work around electricity. The repair is very simply for a technician with some tools and superglue. But, it's not safe for you to do.
