Hello snapshots,
I have an x61, and you may want to check that all of the keys on your keyboard are not damaged, and that none of them are stuck in the pressed position. That is what the "stuck key" message typically means. If you check out the keyboard, and all the keys are fine, and if you are still receiving this message, try calling Lenovo support. There is an off chance that your keyboard (or other components) may be slightly defective.
Here is the link to the Lenovo site: http://lenovo.com/planetwide/select/selector.html
Hope this helps!

It is possible to replace the hinge, but it is a couple hours of tricky work. If you are not comfortable completely dismantling your computer, I would take it to a repair shop. You can usually find the hinge on ebay. Just search for "thinkpad x230 tablet swivel hinge part".I replaced the hinge on my x61 tablet without any trouble, but I am very comfortable with repairing computers. Take lots of pictures to make sure you get it back together correctly, and keep track of where the screws go, there are a lot of them. Good luck! Here is the repair manual for the x230:https://download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/x230t_x230it_hmm_en_0b48730_02.pdf
Are you trying to move the cursor with the trackpoint, a usb mouse, or the pen? Have you tried restarting your computer? Restarting would likely solve the problem. If you can't move the cursor to the start menu, you can open the start menu with the windows key, use the arrow keys to navigate to the power options. Use enter to select the power options and shut down or restart the computer. If this does not work, press and hold the power button for 5 or 10 seconds to force the computer to shut down.
What happened before this occurred? Did you install any programs or updates recently, or change any settings on your computer?
Ensure that there are no periferals plugged in, USB, Lan etc and take any disk out of the CD ROB drawer then try to boot again. If it still doesn't work, you may have a hardware conflict and will need to press the F2 or whichever key for the BIOS menu and check that it is set up with Hard drive as first boot device, then try again. Hope this helps
confirm that the Power adapter is ok if the A/C indicator comes ON on the LCD on the laptop. If the A/c indicator is off replace the the power pack. Else the board may be bad, replace the board.
You can try restarting your computer, this has been known to occasionally help if Windows Vista is the operating system, but there isn't really a solution for this problem as it typically means
that the battery has been destroyed. Sorry. I hope this helps and apologize if it does not,

Download Free Easy CD DVD Burner and
follow the on-screen directions to install the software. Note: Free Easy CD DVD Burner is completely free and fully
functional. However, there are some accompanying programs that it asks
you to install - feel free to decline those if you're not interested.
Free Easy CD DVD Burner supports Windows 7, Vista, XP, and 2000.
Insert a blank CD or DVD in your drive.
Open the Free Easy CD DVD Burner program.
Click on the Copy CD/DVD button on the tool bar at
the top of the program window.
Under the Action menu on the left, click the Burn
an image file link.
When the Select the image file that you want to burn
window opens, locate and select the ISO file you wish to burn to the
empty disc and then click Open.
A dialog box will appear asking "Do you want to burn
[your chosen ISO file]?".
Click OK to confirm.
The burning process will automatically begin. The time it takes to
burn will depend on the size of the ISO file and the speed of both your
PC and your CD or DVD burner.
When the burning is complete, the CD or DVD will
automatically eject from the drive. You can remove the disc and close
Free Easy CD DVD Burner.
If you view the contents of the disc, you might notice many
files and folders. So what happened to the ISO file? Remember that the
ISO file is just an image of what should be on the CD or DVD. That ISO
file contained the information for all of the files you see on the disc.
Tips:
You must have a CD or DVD
burner to write ISO files to CDs or DVDs. You will not be able to burn
ISO files if you only have a standard CD or DVD drive.
Hello snapshots,
Here is what you do:
1) Click on a blank area of the desktop (not sure why, but sometimes this is necessary).
2) Press the toolbox button on your monitor. It is located in between the rotate screen button and the secondary "Esc" button. A tablet shortcut menu should appear in the middle of your screen.
3) Select "Settings" at the bottom left of the menu. This will open a "Customize Tablet Shortcut Menu Settings" Window.
4) In the "Auto Screen Rotation" portion of the window, make sure the "Enable ActiveRotate" box is checked.
5) If you choose, you may also want to click the "Calibrate" button. This will step you through customizing the ActiveRotate to your personal preference.
6) Click "Apply" and then "Ok".
Please note, that with the internal wi-fi connection enabled, you cannot use the X61 in tablet mode in certain orientations. Nothing bad will happen if you attempt to do this; but you will notice a message popup telling you this, as well as having the screen automatically switch orientations on you. This is normal and has something to do with the wi-fi antenna location.
Hope that helps!

When your cursor is moving, while you don't touch your mose, check if the underside is completely clean. And with a wireless mouse, please put your phone somewhere else, not to close to the computer. Then let us know if it helps.
You can get an adapter cable that will fit into the tablet's USB port. It's called an OTG cable. With that, you can hook up cellphones, digital cameras, thumb drives, SD card readers and many more things. The best way to do that would be to get an adapter OTG cable and a card reader. You can also transfer it to a computer and then to the SD card. If you don't have a card reader most digital cameras will work as one. Hook the camera to a ps and look for it in my computer folder. (works on macs also) and opens it. There you can put any file on the SD card. If using an OTG adapter to just hook it to the device's USB port and go to your file manager app. I would recommend an app called ES File Explorer. it makes it simple to find files on Android devices. Once you locate the drive (usually it's called USBDRIVEA) just transfer the music. Here is a link to a video that will help. I take no credit of video.
Hi,
please attempt to use another internet source before attempt to access the app store on your tablet. This can be either ethernet or tablet. If this fails, please restart your tablet once or twice. Otherwise, you might need to transfer antivirus apps via usb into your tablet, install/run those and then attempt to access your app store again.
Thank you.
