make sure u have connected the fm tunner silver box if not thats your problem if u do not connect it it wont power thats really important.

disconnect it from the brake system. its a safety device that installers legally have to do.

Tie the Parking break sensor to the ground wire, or ground it to a piece of the frame and your done ;)

i had this same problem when i would connect the light green wire to the ground my dvd would play but when i shut the car off and turned it back on it would need to be disconnected and done again.. my solution was to put it on a switch that i will turn on and off and back on then my dvds play with no problems

reset the unit there should be a little red button on the front or back of unit

yes you need the pioneer adapter
there are not enought wires on the white usb cable to trasfer all the data
