Unit is very straightforward to operate. Hold down O/1 button for power. Use the "mode" pusbutton to cycle thru AM/FM/CD/AUX/XM. Treble & Bass settings are made by turning the 'tuning' knob.
For radio and satellite presets, hold in the numbered pushbutton until it beeps, and then it's set. You should be able to hear previews on XM channel 1,and that will help you with antenna setup. I highly suggest using the remote XM antenna. The built-in XM antenna need to be put 'propped-up' outslde, otherwise you have to use the external antenna. Use AC power as it eats batteries, or use rechargeable D batteries. Let me know if you have any more quesions. okay?

Try to perform a rescan by following these steps:-
1. Make sure you are in the “Good Reception Area”.

2. Activate AUX input.

3. Push and hold [RESCAN] to hear long beep. (“Channel List” erased)

4. Go to SAT1.

5. “Updated” is flashing, make sure to let the “Channel List” To update before you can use your Radio again.

6. Deactivate AUX input. ( If needed)
AUX input mode (SAT Rescan)

If you have the magnetic antenna, check it for a little nick on the cable on the outside of the car where water might get in to it. A little water can short the ground and the antenna wire. You also can wash (with lots of water around where the antenna cable is) and see if it happens again, then you will know it not just the weather

If the display is working, you have audio. Check your amplifier. 1300Watt adaptor ... This unit draws a very low power and that is not needed.
