How do I remove drain pan on Viking VCSB483 refrigerator freezer? It slides out almost all the way, but gets stuck on the right hand side and won't come out.

you have to remove the float that hangs from ceiling on rh side (depending on age) also if your tray has foil heater under it this has to be removed first (depending on age and service history)

Viking freezing evaporator coil

im not sure if still is the case.but there used to be a timer that shuts off the refridge so it self defrost. it is set to do this 1ce a day so the ice or frost does not build up.it is called a defrost timer. if it fails it will not shut down the fridge.most of them are near the front behind the grate.

Vcsb483

if you remove the center part of the grill you will then find four 1/4" screws on the black back section remove them then loosen the bolts one on the right and left and the switch is going to be on the right side. The reason I am telling you to take off the whole grill vs just the center is that you are going to need to clean the condensor that is going to be on the left side at the top. IMPORTANT ONLY CLEAN THE CONDENSOR IN AN UP DOWN MOTION DO NOT GO ACROSS AS THIS WILL DAMAGE THE FINS.

Thank you and have a great day,
