No filter. Thats with front loaders. Water left in the tub is two issues. #1 Kinked drain or clogged hose. If that is OK then your drain pump is bad and needs replacing.

Go on the washing machine web site and there is a section that tells you how to repair it. Also try the sears web site. I replaced my washing machine transmission thru that site

It's possible that the tub suspension system is out of position. Open the cabinet top (use a thin putty knife in each front corner to release a spring clip) and watch the mechanism while washing. Try shaking the assembly to see if you can spot something rubbing. Hope this helps!

Use a small putty knife. Put the putty knife in between the front panel and the top about 3 inches in on the left and right side. You will be inserting it straight in toward the washer and this will release 2 clips and allow the panel to rock towards you. Note some pressure must be applied and will not always release easily. Once the panel rocks toward you there will be 2 clips on the bottom. Just pull off of the clips and you are done. To reassemble allign the panel with the bottom clips and push the top back in, again with a little pressure.

Hello Friend, You either have a bad water level/pressure switch or your water inlet valve is bad. If you unplug the washer from the wall and the water stops filling into the washer, then it's not the water inlet valve. If it only continues to fill when wash cycle is started then you will need to replace the water level/pressure switch behind control panel. Also, the pressure supply tube connected to water level/pressure switch may have a hole in it or a bad connection, or possibly plugged up. This rubber tube must have an airtight seal at both ends to perform properly. be sure to check this item also. Happy to help, Tim.

i don't know. i repaired same condition on different washer. it was the lid safety switch/pin contact. i tested
by pushing pencil in hole where safety pin goes.
i slid top off washing machine and moved lid switch back so ' lid pin ' would contact safety switch. if this is the cause, you may need to replace this low cost switch.

The drain on the wall is called a Stand Pipe. It is designed to be higher than the washing machine so that you do not flood the building every time you do a load of wash. The Machine has a built-in pump to pump the water out of the machine when needed.
You will need to attach a washing machine drain hose to the machine. You should be able to find one at Lowes or Home Depot. https://www.lowes.com/pd/bosch-drain-hose-extension-kit-gray/1000024537?cm_mmc=shp-_-c-_-prd-_-app-_-google-_-pla-_-186-_-sosaccessories-_-1000024537-_-0&kpid&k_clickID=go_625713068_34614756550_111134534590_pla-261169297148_c_9027729&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIwc_2u8_-4AIV9x6tBh1fSA3fEAQYAyABEgJjjPD_BwE

Run the machine empty to see if you can clear some of the soap residue, E-4 is "suds lock" error and is usually due to using too much detergent.

when you let people know what type of machine it is then maybe we could help but go to the manufactures and download the user manual and check in the trouble shooting guide eric

if you are familiar on how to use an electric multimeter
this is what you do access to the motor which does the washing / spinning find the cable that are attached to the motor remove cables screw them on to a separated connecting block now you select a program ( awash ) with no laundry start the program then set you meter to volts hold the meter prongs on the cable that you have already put into the block hold firm the prongs in each wire you then should get voltage ( hold for 5/8 minutes if the voltage do not get interrupted there is nothing wrong with the control board but the motor is faulty and vice versa
