Filter cleaning

The fact is that the "bagless bandwagon" is powered by some excellent marketing that conceals what is often poor technology. In your case, the filter blocks because it's doing the job that a bag would do in a bagged machine (catching the dust), and then the machine overheats because the flow of cooling air to the motor is restricted. The only solution (for this machine) is to keep buying new filters - the only permanent solution is to buy a different vacuum cleaner. And my advice is to buy one with a bag!

When charging my Dirt Devil I'm getting flashing green & blue lights.

You don't supply a model number and they make quite a few! Here are all the manuals. That sounds normal to me, Green for fully charged and ready to use, Blue to say it is trickle charging. https://dirtdevil.com/pages/instructional-manuals ..

Dirt Devil stick vacuum model 083700. How do you use the attachments? Manual is not available online

That is very strange, the parts suppliers list it, but Dirt Devil have no reference. I would contact Dirt Devil and ask why? There is a model M82700 but it is a cylinder vac. The contact details are there on page one. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/229112/Dirt-Devil-M082700.html Here is a list on all the Stick Vac model manuals https://dirtdevil.com/pages/instructional-manuals This is the vacuum with all its attachments and it looks like you just remove the head and insert the hose or the tools https://www.johnnyvac.com/en/rp-upright-vacuums/dirt-devil-power-stick-vac-m083700 ..

I took my dirt devil power max/pet apart to clean.. now I can't remember how the adjustment wheels go back in ?

You’re talking about the carpet height adjustment knob. The mechanism that controls the wheels goes in first BEFORE the bottom plate goes on. Put the wheels in first before the plate goes on.

Dirt Devil Featherlight vacuum with bag--wheel is loose/falls off because screw doesn't tighten/grip enough. Help!

All the parts are here, but the wheel and screws are obsolete. So if the screw holds the wheel and then loosens up, remove the screw, clean the threads and apply Red Loctite. It will stop the screw from loosening. If that doesn't work, get some Liquid Metal, mix it and press it into the hole, grease the threads WELL, and screw the screw in. Properly greased, you should be able to remove the screws if you need to. https://www.ereplacementparts.com/dirt-devil-085590-featherlite-upright-vacuum-parts-c-36976_37103_129641.html ..

Dirt devil power stick lite edge to edge

See picture for details. It is unnecessary to remove the roller brush to clean it. The picture will show you how to do but not all vacuum cleaners will have a line where to cut. In this case, you can still use a utility knife just be more cautious where your cutting and not too deep. Make your cuts on both sides of the roller. 10_31_2021_7_39_47_am.jpegIf you still need to pullout the roller brush, don’t worry too much about pulling it out strait. Pull one end slightly, do the other end in the same way until it comes out.

I have a dirt devil featherlite bagged vacuum that is not picking up? I checked the belt and the brush and they are both moving, but not picking up dirt?

If the belt is over a year old replace it. Belts lose elasticity and will still spin but not clean the carpet.

On my brand new Dirt Devil Endura Reach, when i remove hose to attach the wand, dirt blows out from the place the hose was in. why?

Probably your vacuum needs to be serviced
You have to check filters, check hose if’s clogged, maybe you have clog in the base from the roller to the hole where you connect hose
