This is a programme mode but just can't put my finger on it this second. It isn't actually a fault. Try holding your finger on the on / off switch for 5 seconds.
You have entered a programming mode. BTW, the light is a time activated thing. There is no sensor for blocked filters. It is just there to remind people that don't bother clean them regularly. Try holding the on / off button in for 5 seconds. With out knowing what you actually did, it is a bit of a trial.
Try this........Please use the following sequence to clear the "cleaning lock" mode.
1. Switch the appliance off.
2. Touch pad Clear and hold.
3. Release pad Clear.
4. Touch pad Clear 5 times and at the 5th time, hold it until the programming mode appears.Programming.
This must be completed within 10 seconds or it will not work.
You should get an acknowlegment indicator. The display shows the positions of the programming mode Programming.
1. Touch the pad next to Reset Cleaning
2. Select yes
The cleaning lock should be lifted.
3. Select touch pad on/off
I have just given mine yet another thump with my fist on the stuck side and this time it slid backwards. I promised it that I would be more gentle in pulling it out in future.
