Same issue with water leaking. Fan slowed and allowed ice to block drain..., defrost caused ice dam under heat shield. (behind freezer fan shroud at bottom, below condenser) Ice dam lifted heat shield until it dislodged the condenser, which slid down and melted the plastic liner when the defrost came on. QC! Fixable..., but could have been avoided by mounting the condenser so it couldn't shift or drop in transit. New fan and heat shield needed now..., and more groceries! Any good leads on reasonable parts in Belleville Ontario area?

I have also noticed that the freezer door cannot be opened while the moaning occurs. I have not tried disconnecting power. This is a brand new unit, and I'm considering a call to LG for warranty repair.

Could be a build up of frost.

Bill there's a few things you could try to do to help this situation and the idea of the ice maker not being as efficient as it once was would be the first signs of a bigger underlying issue. First I would make sure the condenser is clean and the fan next to it is working properly. Make sure there is always good air flow and maintain the water filter as recommended by LG. turn your control knob all the way off you will feel a click just after 0that is your reset. if that dont work then turn your ridge of at the mainand pull out the plug leave out for 15min then plug it back on.turn your control knob inside the fridge till you hear it clik on if it worksset your knob on 2 in winter 3 summer hope this helps

Per LG training... Explain to the customer that---removing the DISPENSER ASSY *will* sound as if you (the servicer) are rough/unprofessional. When removing the entire Housing---loud snapping sounds are produced. This is normal. 1) Slide forward and remove the drain tray (place finger(s) at the back/rear and squeeze locking tab) 2) Grasp the bottom of the DISPENSER HOUSING and firmly pull towards you (plastic straining noise will occur) 3) Working from the bottom---move to the lower edges and continue pulling/unsnapping the Housing Assy. 4) Since the DISPLAY is situated on the left side of the Housing---all wire connectors are on the left side. 5) Re-installing is much easier than removing. Apply effort to be certain that the Housing is fully snapped in place. https://www.needlevalve.net

Make sure doors are always closed properly. Unclog the drain pipe. Be careful not to break the heater glass. Check the temperature settings. maybe it is at full for both sections.

The shelf has to be installed at an angle rather than flat.

Theres a switch or relay bad or othr parts. Chec utube or pintetest. Gonna need avoltmeter. Dont spend alot on system. Cause good used is cheapr

No info generic answer Not cooling then it's not working if compressor running ----loss of freon ..stuck defrost cycle ....evaporate fan failure ...evaporate frozen etc these are some of the reasons

Sounds like one of two possibilities: 1) Loose connection, since it works intermittently after you push/pull/change something 2) A problem with the main control board. Everything from the cooling system to the lights to the fans to the ice maker are managed and controlled by the control board. Some boards have flashing LED indicators to help trouble shoot problems.

The hinges need to be replaced on your fridge for both the freezer and the fridge. Have a person that repairs fridges to take a look at it and see what the problem is with the fridge.

Must be gas leakage.
