I have a LG LSC27931SW/04 refrigerator looking a water filter,

I know you can find aftermarket filters at a lower price, but I'm a fan of OEM parts. Have had too many disappointments with the cheap, Chinese parts.

https://www.appliancepartspros.com/lg-filter-assembly-head-5231ja2005a-ap4440605.html

Turn off the water supply, put a towel under the filter compartment, turn the old one CCW, put in the near one and turn CW. Reset the indicator by pressing and holding for 3-5 seconds.

LG French Door Refrigerator Error Code 15

My problem was similar to yours and my lg refrigerator model number is: LMXS30776D/02, I followed the steps like you with no luck. I just fixed mine last night and it's a pleasure for me to share with you my experience. As I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my fridge, as I was shaking and lifting the left front door of my fridge I noticed that the error code E: 15 disappear on the display. As we open the door back and forth for normal use,the error E: 15 comes back again. From that,I realized something wrong with the left front door of the fridge. I ordered a new left door, It came in yesterday, I installed it last night and everything works beautifully in my fridge, no more code what so ever. as a result, if you are experiencing the same problem, most likely you need to think replacing the left door of the fridge. Let me know if this help. Thank you.

I have a LG LFX25960TT with ice/water dispenser. when i get water there is something floating in it. How can i replace the water line.

Check the line that goes from the water pipe to the back of the refrig. Someone may have used something they shouldn't have. The lines in the refrig won't break down like that.

LG LFX28978 Refrigerator, freezer not cold enough, maintaing temp at 40-41 degrees.

How did you remove ice from freezer. If you uses any type of tool (Scraper etc) then you have possibly punctured the evaporator tubes. These tubes can be either as a radiator type or form part of the freezer box and are very thin therefore susceptible to puncturing when using scrapers or such to remove ice. To remove ice from refrigerator condensers allow it to melt, you can use a hair dryer to speed this up but DO NOT use mechanical means.

Have a LG refrigerator model#lfc207405T and its making a grinding sound like a loose fan checked the condenser fan on the back bottom and it is not it coming from higher up. Is there another fan.

it could be your evaporator fan that's located in the back of your freezer being blocked by ice buildup. you will have to turn off the light by either using a magnet or pressing the light switch off so fan will run while door is open. Fan will not run while door is open and light on. Do you have frost buildup on rear wall of the freezer?

LG refrigerator not dumping ice.

I own a LG LFXS24566S and it was making ice but not dumping it. If I pressed the reset button, it would dump the ice and fill the tray again but once frozen it would still not dump the ice. A technician was dispatched to replace the ice-maker but the problem remained. During the next visit, he had me "reboot" the refrigerator by removing power for five minutes, which fixed the issue.

Hello, our LG GR-389STQ fridge is 16 years old. It has worked well all along. Now a sheet of ice regularly forms at the bottom of the freezer. I have seen videos explaining that it is likely a clogged drain, but I can't identify it in our fridge. Could anyone possibly help?

Only frost free models have a drain and that is recognisable by a funnel shaped moulding in the plastic of the cabinet liner terminating in a hole. Frost free models have a heating element that is switched on briefly after each cooling cycle, melting any ice that has formed over the evaporator. The resulting water droplets are channeled into the drain by the funnel-shaped moulding. The drain leads to a tray fixed to the compressor and the heat from the compressor causes the water to evaporate. The best thing to check if the drain is clear is a flexible curtain wire and for a good clean a variety of suitably sized brushes are available. Sometimes the insulation of a fridge or freezer becomes sodden with water and ice tends to build over that area. Where the drain runs through an area of sodden insulation where ice is forming it can be impossible to clear the drain. Check the outside of the cabinet for cold spots. The presence of a cold spot indicates the insulation is failing and it is time to replace...

LG REFRIGERATOR how do I get the internal covers off to allow me to clear its drain NO FROST GR432SF

We just did ours a few days ago. LG-GR419 could be similar to yours. Freezer part. We found the bottom drawer stuck with ice - frozen water dripping out from the drain. So, took three screws out. Due to the drain being frozen (could be a result of someone leaving the freezer door open at some point and then just closing it after some melt...the back panel will come off with a tug - after the ice behind it melted. We used a hair dryer to do this - sparingly. Can't afford to melt any plastic. Then once tugged off, we saw a layer of ice in the tray and defrost that with the hair dryer - until everything is clear. At the back of the fridge, we took off the panel - cleaned the dust clogging the slits - my Goodness, no wonder the fridge was working so hard! Chockablock! Anyway, traced the drain hole to a tube. But at that point, not sure why the drained water doesn't go through the tube - perhaps it is not meant to...maybe it is a slow drip and the fan at the back evaporates the water collected - so that was it. So far, it is back to normal. We also found it quieter.

LG LSC27925ST ice tray won't dump/release frozen ice. I dig or pop it out and reset it and it fills and will work correct a time or two, but then again it sticks and tray twists but wont dump.

  1. Tray is worn or hard water build up
  2. 5989JA1005H ice maker assembly
  3. You could try removing it and then clean the cube tray with a ice maker descaler and then use a food grade silicone spray to coat the cube holes and follow the manufacturer directions.
  4. But I would just change it and be done.
