this is strange. first check and make sure u have the right filter. it sounds like when u install the filter thewater tube is not engaging in the filter. make sure there is no plug in the filter.

F20 can be fixed very easy. Get something high to stand on. and see the top of the fridge. you will see the top panel and 2 pieces of plastic covers on the front corners. take of the left on and you will see broken cables. attache the cables back together and please at least use electric tapes to make it safe or soldering iron even rubber melting tubes.

Fridge is showing f24 fault and wrench symbol. No ice is being made and it peeps continually when door is open

The drain hole is behind the evaporator, not accessable by you, it requires a technician to clear it, if that is the problem, did you pull the fridge out & check to see that the white cover that catches the defrost water is sitting on top of the compressor, thats the black round motor in the bottom rear area. I have struck a few that have had it missing from manufacture.

Sounds like it's come off the rails, empty it completely trays & all. pull it all the way forward & lift it up it should fall or you may have to gently drop it back into position.

I would check that the water catch tray is on the compressor, this item collects the water from a defrost, it may be missing.

NOTE: This
is a multi-solution answer since I don't have all the tech from your question to pinpoint your problem
But the solution is in here generically, if you read and study the solutions very,very carefully.
Check Temp inside freezer. It has to be down to about 10 or 15 degrees
This can cause slow ice making if its too high even tho its freezing everything else at 25 degrees
The ref. temp should be about 33-35
The Freezer temp should be 0 to 10 Any thing below these temps is overkill and a waste of elect
The higher the number you turn it up to is the coldest
The icemaker is 110v
See if water is in icemaker.
Pour water in Ice Maker and wait to see if it ejects.
If it ejects thenyou need to replace water valve in rear bottom of fridge(Its the part that
attaches to water line out of wall)
If it doesn't eject then it is a faulty Ice Maker.
If its leaking or no water at icemaker or door either one, then the valve at the rear bottom of ref needs replacing
I would check the fan in the freezer. Listen to see if it is running
It moves air to the ref from the freezer
Then check to see if freezer control is turned WARMER, which makes the Ref. colder
Also if it is getting drinking water to the door but not to the icemaker (or vice versa) Then you need to replace
the water valve at the bottom rear of the fridge. It is a double valve and one side is not working
Also this might be a common Defrost problem, Ice
is not being melted by the defrost system.The fan can't blow through the coils into the fridge.
Take out back panel of freezer to check for ice buildup. The coils should be clean.
There are three components to a defrost system- a heater,heater thermostat, and a timer unless you have a defrost electronic card.
Its best handled by a Technician but you could possibly do it by taking your model number to the nearest appliance parts store and asking for the parts. They are mostly located in freezer ,behind back panel on freezer coils.except the card which is usually located in ref The parts store will have info
Also check fan undernearh Ref in the rear
Clean condenser coils underneath

The door switch has 3 terminals and wires on it. Jumper the wire that does NOT turn on the light to the wire that is on C of the door switch. If you look at the switch it will have one wire distant from the other 2.... that wire is the power wire "C". You jumper that to the wire that would be attached to the "NO" terminal. After you jumper the wire... and TAPE IT with electrical tape the door alarm should be silenced and the internal light will NOT work until you replace the switch. Label the remaining wire with masking tape... NC and Actually label all 3 wires as you remove them... C, NC and NO. Just use write that on a strip of masking tape and then put it on like a horseshoe pennant.

If the interior hole is clear, you may also want to check where that short pipe dispenses the water into the defrost tray on the rear of the fridge.

Remove the back lower panel carefully and feel on the inside of the opening, just above the center. You should be able to feel the end of that pipe, although you won't be able to see it easily. Feel to see if there is an obstruction there (mine had a tiny ball of pet hair clogging the end of the pipe).

Also, there should be a little rubber 'gasket' with 'fingers' that extend over the opening of that pipe. It was suggested by FP tech to snip a couple of those fingers to allow water to move more easily.

Connections on the door may be loose.

Depending on what is causing the breaker to blow will be important to know. Refrigerators do draw a good bit of power on a 20 amp circuit especially when the refrigerator goes into defrost. Refrigerators are made to run on a 20 amp circuit without other machines or appliances using the same power circuit. Circuit breakers weaken over time too especially if they have more than they are. rated for plugged into the same circuit. And your circuit may be doing its job by detecting an excessive draw of power when the refrigerator is plugged in. You must have someone that knows electricity to inspect your refrigerator for shorting and the circuit it is plugged to for correct wiring for every ones safety. Thanks, Sea Breeze

the defrost heater or thermostat located on the evaporator coil thats icing up isnt defrosting due to a bad heater or thermostat,or it can be the defrost timer that powers these other 2 parts
