How do dogs get worms
Do they go the bathroom in the house? They get worms thru contact with infested soil or schitt. If they go outside for even just a bit then they are capable of getting worms.

How do you treat an extensive briuse on my thigh.
Fill a large Zip-lock type plastic bag with ice cubes, or get a frozen ice block for a small cooler, wrap it in a cloth, and apply it to the bruise ASAP. Hold it there for 10-20 minutes (you can take it off for a bit if it feels uncomfortably cold). This will reduce the swelling, internal bleeding, pain and discoloration. Repeat as needed to treat discomfort for the first day. After that, you may find a warm compress (hot water bottle) will reduce the stiffness of the muscle. Eat extra salad and protein for the next week to speed the healing process, and do gentle range-of-motion exercises to keep the muscle limber. Back off on running if it hurts; that's a signal that the muscle isn't ready to run yet.

I think my dog has Melena, what natural remedy is there for this
talk with a vet about what is causing the bleeding in the digestive tracts
one reason for this is rat or mice poison which causes internal bleed or snail pellets which dogs love
other reasons are feeding the dog cooked bones that splinter when being being chewed and then penetrates the intestine walls causing bleeding
the dogs digestive acids cannot break down cooked bones so they should only be getting raw bones
as for natural remedies , watch and monitor what the dog eats , feed only the diet recommended by vets and get the animal to a vet to see exactly what is causing the bleeding

My dog has heart worms how do i kill them without spending $350 at the vets
Hi Carolyne,You will have to take your baby to the vet and have them treat it and hopefully they can get rid of them, there's nothing you can buy to get rid of them.I have 3 Yorkies, and every month I call my vet to get 3 doses of TRIFEXIS,you can only get this thru your vet, they have to be tested yearly for heartworms and intestinal worms. The test for each of my baby's is 32 dollars,it also treats it for intestinal worms and it controls fleas, they never had a flea in their life. You will have to spend the cost but you need to get your baby to the vet as soon as possible, also get a rabie shot, owning a pet is not cheap. The monthly TRIFEXIS is about 30 dollars per dog.Check this link out.

Trouble shooting for Select Comfort Bed
First confirm that batteries are fresh. If that does not call manufacturer customer service. I have had a very satisfactory experience in resolving a similar problem.

The symptoms of mange in my dog
hairless scaly patches on the skin eventually leading to sores and no hair at all
always scratching or biting
take to a vet for a proper diagnosis
mange is a mite that gets under the skin and is contagious with the mites living in bedding , dirt , people and other animals
can be controlled by fully immersing the animal in a wash of maldison 50 ( active constituents--00 g/l maldison- an anti-cholinesterase compound and solvent 493 /l hydrocarbon liquid ) or similar wash as advised by the vet
