Kenmore AC, no cold air

If the evaporator tube is iced up entering the coil and cool to warm leaving the evaporator, that would indicate low on refrigerant or a restriction. If it is iced up entering and leaving the evaporator, then, it could be low on refrigerant, blower not running at proper speed, dirty evaporator coil or filter.
You need to check the suction and head pressure and temperature to determine problem for sure.

I have an LG LWHD1200FR.

You could have a weakpower strip, or you have a component on the power supply board, in the air conidtioner , that is going bad after it gets hot. Pulg it directly into the wall and if it opens a circuit breaker in your breaker bax then there is a problem with the Air Conditioner, if it stays running then replace the power strip.

We also have a unit that will not drain out the

the reason is probaly an easy fix the water flow sometimes builds up scum from bacteria and dust buy a 12 oz bottle of rubbing alcohol take out the reusable filter so that you see the coil behind below the coil is a small pooling tray that water empties into from the coils when its operating.pour the entire contents of bottle into that collection tray that will dissolve the scum and kill the bacterial build up that can block the drain tube also try removing a blockage in drain tube with a pipe cleaner or a scredriver but be careful you dont damage the coils with it so try to use something bendable that won,t cause damage..

Unplug the unit, remove the control panel and check connections.
