Need temperature limit switch for garbage Bunn coffee maker.

Not sure your model name is correct and we always need numerical model names here. Bunn are such a well known name in coffee machines, I find it disappointing that they say ANY machine is not repairable. I found some Training Manuals and I found a 'Thermostat Limit Kit'. https://www.google.com/search?q=bunn+grab+fast+brew++temperature+limit+switch The search query would be Bunn (numerical model number) temperature limit switch ..

Thanks for those replies! Model is grxb, code 201616. Temp switch has part numbers on it. Any ideas on outside vendors? Thanks

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Refrigerators. Hi again Bill Making a new post as a follow-up doesn't work here at Fixya. Posts are not threaded or linked, so this post has no context to your previous post. What you wrote here should be in the older post as a reply to Brett and I. You just click COMMENT under our answers to you. The benefits are that it keeps everything together and we get a notification that you require further help. And apparently is is a 'Bunn GRX-B Coffee Maker'. Capitalization and dashes are important to the search :>) https://www.fixya.com/support/t29863408-need_temp_limit_switch_garbage_bunn ..

Bunn my cafe mcu red light flashing. Water does not heat. Water will run out if brew button pushed, but of course it is cold

I have the identical problem, and I noticed it this morning after there were 2 very brief (seconds) power outages the previous night. Reading around the internet I read that the fuses inside the unit are the likely culprit, and need to be replaced. You can buy fuses made by others, for this unit. But not from Bunn. And there are video instructions around that show how to do it. The fuses are crimped on, not soldered. Mind you, I haven't tried to do this, yet, but that's what I read. Good luck!

Bunn coffee maker heats but wont pump water?

I thought these are pour over brewers? Which means you have to fill it with water in order to brew? It should happen when the unit is filled first, plugged in then turned on.(see link below for MFR instructions) Aloha! ukeboy57 http://www.bunn.com/sites/default/files/care-and-cleaning/43097_0002d01_velocity_brew_manual_english-_bt_st.pdf

My commercial bunn coffee maker is only brewing a half a pot even though I'm pouring in a full pot of coffee water??

Im assuming you tried it more than once and the tank is full when you start? If your doing manual fill pour over the timer has nothing to do with that. If it's plumbed with a water line, before you start changing your timer for the brew cycle, first try the easy fix which is unscrew the spray head. it's the piece the water comes out to the basket. Take the cleaning spring tool and rotate it as you push it thru the tube you just unscrew the spray head from. As your pushing it thru it has two turns in it . Just rotate and push until you have gone thru the second one and then it's clear to the water tank. Unfortunately this doesn't always get it unplugged. Where the tube goes into the water tank there is silicone hub on the part that's in the tank and it can keep some of the lime buildup from being removed. You will have to take the top off and remove the tube to clean it if that happenes. Dont forget to unplug it first. The other common spot for a restriction is where the water leaves the pan your pouring into. You need to remove the pan to get the spray tube out anyway so look also at the big nut that holds the pan onto the tank.sometimes the hole will plug in the center .

My Bunn coffee maker is making weak coffee

Couple of ideas.

Your weak coffee could be due to the machine not getting hot enough, which is usually caused by calcium scale buildup on the heating element (the "burner").

Try descaling with a citric-acid based cleaner, such as Dezcal or Durgol.

The second is the coffee your using is a weak blend. Try changing to a different coffee and see if the strength is better.

My 2018 Bunn multicup coffeemaker's power button is flickering. The power is working, but should I be concerned about the flickering?

This sounds like the light flickering rather than a faulty connection. You can check for a bad connection by tuning a nearby radio receiver to no station in the AM band. If there is a bad connection causing this you'll hear the sparking (in time with the flickering) on the radio. Flickering is a common effect seen with neon indicator lights when they age and does not affect the switch function at all, so can be safely ignored.

The water inlet valve may be stuck open from mineral deposits. You can get rebuild kits for the older ones or just replace the valve?
