Need you to post the computer manufacturer name, and model number; plus what Operating System is being used. Model number is on the back of a desktop computer; next to the Windows product key; or up on the side of the computer tower. It is on the bottom of a laptop. I have a dual basket 12 Qr fryer had taken out of the box to use it.Plug it in and the light won't come on.The reset is set.

No, Deep Fryers are dangerous so cords are kept purposely short to prevent accidents. Also 1800 watts draws a lot of amps, so extending the cable can cause the cable to heat up. Move the fryer to an outlet, or have a new outlet installed where you want the fryer. Your island would benefit from extra built in sockets.

WAIT! Do not add any oil or butter. I don't know what kind of machine you have, but only POPCORN goes inside the Popcornnow. I have an old one that melts butter on the top cover, although I don't recommend that. I recommend butter in the microwave. Repeat: DO NOT ADD OIL where the popcorn goes or you will set a fire.
