Tag Heuer Kirium Formula 1 Chronograph Watch - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How do I turn off eol on my tag
"EOL" means "End of Life." The battery needs to be replaced soon. I agree with other post. . . if you had the battery replaced recently, it was bad. I have had my Tag Kirium Formula One for 12 years and have only replaced the battery once.
Have a Kirium Formula 1
You should not assume the battery you put in the watch is good. Test it and if it is good (like new) it means you have a problem other than the battery.

Hi
Thank you for your question at Fixya,
The solution to your problem is as follows :-
- What you have to do now , is to turn the digital face towards the screen which flashes the digital/date.
- Then you need to pull up the knob out , as you do to set the time, usually.
- Then you need to hold in two auxiliary buttons so that a BAT comes up on the screen , when you see this the flashing stops.
Hope that helps ...:) In case you have any queries, feel free to contact me.
I have a Kirium F1
My previous Kirium F1 had this problem as well.. got it fixed by my watchmaker for a nominal fee (<USD40). Apparently, the push connector needed to be repaired. After the repair, it was "clicking" again and worked fine. However, the watchmaker did warn against pushing the buttons too hard. This is apparently a common problem for this model.
How do I set the time
pull the middle knob out all the way and then turn it. It should turn the minute hand allowing you to set the time
I need set the time and date
TO SET TIME AND DATE, PUSH SIDE BUTTONS TOGETHER OR AT SAME TIME TO MAKE THE SCREEN OR FACE OF WATCH APPEAR WITH ITS TIME OR DATE, THEN GO TO OTHER SIDE BUTTONS TO GO UP OR DOWN ON THE TIME OR DATE UNTIL YOU GET TO THE PROPER TIME AND DATE. THEN GO BACK TO FIRST BUTTONS YOU PUSHED AND PUSH THEM ONCE MORE TO GET OUT OF THE SETTING MODE.
Got tag h kirium battery
Follow these steps to synchronize your watch :-
Step 1. Turn the crown so that it is in the neutral display setting ( no digital time displayed )
Step 2. Pull the crown all the way out, "R" will be displayed.
Step 3. Press the "B" button, the lower button on the side of the watch.
Step 4. The digital time will be displayed, you can then turn the crown and set the hands to the digital time.
Step 5. Push the crown back into its middle position (not fully in and not fully out)
Hope this helps
My alarm does not sound on my Tag Heuer Kirium F1?
Have you a copy of the manual?
If you have, then you will see that it can be turned off (last page), is this likely to be the case?
If you need a copy, go to their web site "tagheuer.com", select "watches", then "tag heuer formula 1", then "man", followed by "Tag Heuer F1 chronometer" and finally you will see on the right a menu, select "user manual".
This seems to be a generic manual that cover both the chronometer and alarm version of the watch.
If these are not the correct instructions for your watch, opposite the "user manual" menu is a search box, put your watch model in this and there should be a user manual with it.
If not look at a similar watch for a generic manual.
What does the flashing EOL mean?
EOL is short for End of Life. Don't worry. According to TAG, that just means you need to replace in the internal lithium battery.

Flashing digital display
I just managed to solve this problem. Turn the digital face to the first screen which is probably flashing EOL with date. Then pull knob out as if you were going to set the time. Hold in two auxilliary buttons, you should see BAT come up on the screen. That should be it stopped flashing!
