Now that's a nice shredder! I'd try to clean the sensor off. Remove Bin then take a air blaster can and spray air all over the bottom part of the shredder and the edges. Hopefully it'll clear off the sensor. For the price of a can of air it's worth a try. Best to you.

Most likely a staple is jammed near the discharge end. Get a small screwdriver or pick and try prying out any stuck staples. Usually a little force will pop the release tray out.
